I am very fond of all the homemade food I used to have as a kid, which is not being prepared too often lately at home nor is it available at stores. Another generation and a lot of the recipes will be lost for good. I have discussed with my family umpteen times that it would be sad to see that happen, and that something needs to be done to keep the legacy alive and kicking. That's how "Awesome Bangalorean Cuisine" started in the year 2012.
Awesome Bangalorean Cuisine" (ABC) is a brand name for the food products I prepare. The product variety belongs to the cuisine of Bangalore region of the Karnataka state in south India. All the dishes are home made and hand made without the use of any chemical preservatives, artificial food colours, artificial flavouring agents etc. ABC products are freshly prepared and are made-to-order.
I also love to prepare food from scratch! I look forward to learning about cuisines from different parts of the world. I believe that food brings people together and hence I like to share my cooking skills with others in the community. I frequently host workshops on topics related to : Zero Waste Kitchen, Menu Planning, Meal Prep, Mason Jar Salads, DIY Beeswax Wraps, Asian/Indian Vegan/Vegetarian Cooking, Kannadiga Feast, Making Yoghurt at home, Making Virgin Coconut Oil at home, Making Tofu and Paneer at home, etc.
I have completed the "FOOD SAFE Level 1" certification course, issued by Vancouver Coastal Health, British Columbia's Regional Health Authority.
