Puzzle Party

Puzzles are interesting and challenging to solve. But once it is solved and the mystery is resolved.. it is not interesting anymore. Most people do not spend time or play with the puzzle once they know the solution. We buy them, solve them, and then they end-up in a box, never to be used again... Instead, let us share them with others who haven't tried it.

With this idea in mind, I started "Puzzle Party". It is a fun and interesting event where people of all ages get together and share puzzles, gain knowledge and have fun! The format of the event is as follows: The organizers will have some Puzzles at the event. Everybody carries one or two puzzles with them. At the event, meet people and show around your puzzle while checking-out what others have to offer. If something interests you, exchange puzzles, try to solve it, discuss techniques with each other and then move on to the next puzzle! We can also watch movies/ documentaries/ webisodes/ TV series related to Puzzles or Treasure Hunt.... One can even narrate a nice "Trickster Tale" to the gathered kids :-)

Everyone is busy in our current lifestyle. They are hooked on to devices and spend time individually. Interaction in a social set-up is minimal. "Puzzle Party" aims to provide a platform for improving the social skills, encourage the cooperation to complete the puzzle, take turns and solve each other's problems. When people across generations come together, there is scope for exchange of interesting information and techniques not know to each other. Also, when people from different geographies come together, they can exchange puzzles and information not accessible to one another.

I plan to set up a "Puzzle Library" in future. It will be a place to rent/borrow puzzles of all kinds! Some of the different kinds of puzzles are:
Jigsaw Puzzles, Wooden Burr Puzzles, Metal Dis-entanglement Puzzles, Rubik's Cubes, Mind Benders, Sudoku, Jumble, Brain teasers, Trickster Tales and more!!
Let us consume/buy less and share! The entertainment aspects of our lives can move towards a zero waste lifestyle.
